On Saturday February 22nd, The group that gathered had a lively discussion and was visited by members of the - Outreach Associate, Organics Collection Big Reuse. Nicole Barrantes and Francesca DiGiorgio attended. They spoke passionately about the DSNY's "Curbside Composting Program" and the " Make Compost, Not Trash" campaign! They also gave brochures, stickers, and reusable tote bags. They have many wonderful programs, including some for children. They were invited to come to other events to get out the word about their programs.
