It was the most emotional concert we have had to date. It was so very well received and brought tears to many in the audience. We had many who came from all over Queens. There was a standing ovation at the end. It celebrated the history of Jewish Music and featured many instrumental and vocal numbers. Board members Andrew K. sang two songs from Fiddler on the Roof, Celeste C., Marco V., and Giovanni V. also sang. Many of the folk songs brought back many memories for quite a few in the audience and the tears were flowing. When the Israeli National Anthem was sung many in the audience stood up. It was a very well received concert and Celeste did a wonderful job with all the preparations. Utsab G. was there and recorded this event and it be on our YouTube website soon The concert lasted two hours and was followed by the official opening of the Robert Murphy Art Exhibit.
