On Saturday, April 5, 2014, Friends of Maple Grove welcomed Ido Tuchman who presented a wonderful workshop teaching kids about computer programming.
The Computer Programming Workshop held today, April 5 at The Center at Maple Grove was a wonderful success! Ido Tuchman had a full room of young students eager to learn about computer programming so they could create their own computer game. Students and parents came away from the workshop with a great deal of knowledge. Mr. Tuchman had a number of volunteers who helped out including David Wong, Henry Harvey, Pedro Ha, Pedro Rojas and Alex Samaroo.
Some of the comments made by the students are included here, “I learned how to make a maze for a cat in the computer programming workshop. I put lots of obstacles. I really enjoyed this workshop!”
Another said, “It was a fun and amazing experience, thank you!” Yet another said, “Thank you for teaching me how to make a video game.
This is the first step to inventing stuff! Thank You!”
Finally one said, “Thank you for a great class, it was the BEST! I think my game will be a big hit!”
